Esmé is one of the selected playwrights for the 2025 Moxie Incubator. Their play, ‘i know why iris chang died’ will receive three phases of development over the course of 2025 with a cohort of emerging directors and producers. A public workshop of the play will take place Sept 5-7 at IRT.
‘i know why iris chang died’ will be one of the plays featured in 4 Plays And - May 30th at 8 PM at St. Lydia's in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Directed by Chaesong Kim, and featuring Evie Shuckman and Josephine Chiang.
Esmé is producing AREA D at Ars Nova ANT Fest, taking place June 11th at 8 PM. “A raw and electrifying Arab pop concert that tells the story of a group of scrappy Palestinian teenagers entering Eurovision.”
